Duh, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Apple is going to incorporate into the iPhone the one feature that makes the iPod, the iPod – which is its clickwheel. I like the rendering of what T3 refers to as the iPhone nano.“Music experience is [Apple’s] top priority,” Tortora says. “It would not do anything to comprise that.”“We believe that the music phone should be considered a music player that has phone capabilities rather than a phone with a built-in music player.”
So if the clickwheel is front and center, the iPhone would then have to be a slider type handset. The first iPhone is still expected to feature a camera, two batteries but lacks Wi-Fi, video functions, QWERTY keyboard and a larger OLED display. Those features are expected to show up in the second version – due to release in Q3 or Q4 of 2007.
